What is a limited edition print?

A limited edition print is a run of a specific piece of artwork. These are produced directly from original works and are collectible due to the amount produced being strictly limited to the number in the edition. All limited edition prints are hand signed and edition numbered by the artist.


Do editions ever sell out?  

Yes. As only 25 or 50 editions of each artwork are produced, the limited editions do sell out. Once sold out, these editions will not become available again. The scarcity of the product is reflected in the price point, so editions of 25 are more expensive than editions of 50.


How are Kaz Djordjevic prints made?

Kaz Djordjevic Studio produces limited edition fine art reproductions. All Kaz Djordjevic prints are printed to the highest industry standards with archival pigment inks on 100% Cotton Rag paper. This is museum quality paper that is an uncoated, acid and lignin free certified archival paper with an 85 year guarantee for image stability. All prints are printed with Epson UltraChrome K3 archival inks. These methods ensure a high quality, archival grade digital print of true colour fidelity and exceptional image permanence.

What is a Giclée print?

Giclée prints are found in the world's finest art galleries and private collections and are treasured just like an original piece of art. They are richly coloured and retain the beautifully detailed brush strokes of the original painting.


Why Buy a Kaz Djordjevic Limited Edition Contemporary Print?

They are great collector’s items as they usually retain or increase their value. Artists often choose to make a run of limited edition prints; these are signed and numbered with an edition that has a fixed number of prints from the beginning of the print run, and the number of prints never changes. These limited edition prints are worth more than unofficial copies and are marked with the unique number of the entire size of the print run. Prints from smaller sets of limited edition prints (25 editions) are more valuable than larger sets (50 editions). If it is a genuine limited edition, the number of the edition will be marked in pencil on the front of the actual print and the edition will not be on sale elsewhere.


Will I receive the print exactly as pictured?

Images on the website are for illustrative purposes only and not necessarily to scale so please carefully check the actual image dimensions provided.  Kaz makes every effort to provide accurate, high resolution images of her artworks. However, she cannot guarantee that the colours depicted on our website exactly reflect the colours of the prints. Computer monitors may show colours a little differently and there could be a slight variation between the screen and the printed version. If you are unsure, check the colours on multiple monitors.


How do I handle my print when it arrives?

It is extremely important to avoid touching the print directly as oils and dirt from your hands can damage the artwork. Abrasion or rough treatment can scratch and harm the pigment too. Any handling of your print should only occur ideally with cotton gloves to minimise the potential for permanent damage from skin contact.   


How do I frame my prints?

Framing is not included so all prints will need to be framed on arrival. To protect your work against damage, Kaz recommends arranging framing as soon as possible using an acid-free matt board and ideally UV blocking glass. It is recommended that you keep your prints in their tubes until you are ready to frame to keep them as safe as possible. Please note it is best to not leave prints in their tubes for an extended period as this will cause damage.

How do I know the artwork is an authentic kaz djordjevic limited edition print?

All prints produced by Kaz Djordjevic Studio are hand signed and editioned by the Artist, embossed with the Artist’s seal to the lower right, as well as accompanied by a signed & dated Certificate of Authenticity. All prints also feature hand torn edges. By purchasing directly to the Artist through her online store, you can be guaranteed of an authentic artwork.


How can I redeem a gift card?

Gift cards are sent via email directly to the gift recipient. They are instantly redeemable online at using the unique code supplied. Simply provide this code at checkout to use the gifted amount. Promo codes cannot be applied to gift vouchers. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded or be used to purchase other gift cards. The voucher is valid for one year from date of purchase.


How long will it take for my artwork to arrive?

All prints are printed to order here in Melbourne, Australia and are shipped within 5 - 7 business days from date of purchase. The time it will take to arrive to you depends on the shipping options selected, and will arrive in the timeframe as indicated with each selection. Timeframes will vary if your location is remote.  Please take this time into consideration when ordering. If you require a custom order, Kaz Djordjevic Studio will advise on the timeframe, as the process of creative adjustments and printing processes will change the lead time to shipping your artwork. As soon as your order is shipped, you’ll receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number.


How much does a Faster courier cost?

Shipping and handling is free for all Standard Shipping orders worldwide. Free shipping is automatically applied at checkout. If you would like to receive your order quicker, please choose the correct shipping upgrade at checkout. All shipping costs associated with Customs, VAT, or additional fees at port of entry that may occur, are to be made by the purchaser.


How is my order shipped?

Each print is carefully wrapped in acid-free paper and packaged in a custom Kaz Djordjevic Studio tube to protect the work against bending or damage in transit. Please check your shipping address carefully. Kaz Djordjevic Studio does not accept responsibility for any lost or delayed deliveries due to incorrect address information. All orders will need to be signed for.


Do you offer express shipping?

Yes, express shipping can be arranged. If you require urgent delivery, please contact the studio and we will do our best to ensure that your order arrives in time. Alternatively, please choose from the other shipping options available at checkout for a speedier deliver than the free standard shipping included with all orders.


Is insurance included with shipping costs?

Yes, full insurance is included on FREE standard shipping Australia wide for all shipments, however NOT internationally. All upgraded courier options include insurance. If you require insurance for FREE WORLDWIDE, please add on insurance at checkout.


What should I do if my print is damaged in transit?

Kaz Djordjevic Studio ensures each print is packaged carefully in sturdy tubes to protect the work in transit. In the unfortunate event that your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours to arrange a replacement. Please advise via the contact form with DAMAGED ORDER in the message. It is mandatory to receive photo’s of the goods and packaging in the email, along with your order details and anything else you would like Kaz to know. The return of damaged items including original packaging will be arranged at the expense of Kaz Djordjevic Studio.


Where is my package?

Kaz Djordjevic Studio does not take responsibility for lost packages. If you do not receive your package in a timely manner please advise via the contact form with ORDER NOT RECEIVED in the message, along with your order details so we can track it. If the package is lost, an insurance claim will need to be made, which the studio will initiate. Please note we will do our best to expedite the process for you. On approval, your order will be produced again for you to the same specifications and shipped as per the original order.


Can I make an exchange?

Please choose carefully as returns or exchanges are not possible if you simply change your mind. Replacement of a print is only possible with manufacturing faults or goods damaged in transit. Kaz loves happy clients, so please let the studio know of any issues ASAP.
